I have this episode on VHS and the crowd was really hesitant to give them love but they couldn’t deny that they were rocking it. This is right when Erykah’s influence was starting to show on Dre because he came out when they did “Elevators” with an incense lol.
Yes, this is new music from Outkast!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I must say it’s FIE! It’s four verses, with two of them being new. The song originally was an unrelased song from Big Boi’s solo (which is a must buy) and is sorta like an upbeat 2K10 version of “I Can’t Wait” from the Barbershop 2 soundtrack. This right here has me amped for a new album because both Big Boi and Dre 3K DESTROY the beat and I’m still mad label politics kept Dre off of Big Boi’s solo. My patna said that Dre is like Bruce Leroy in The Last Dragon: He can kick everybody’s tail but he refuses to fight lol

This is the video remix version featuring Babyface and what Lil Wayne sampled for his song “P.W.A.” Dre RIPS this song and I could quote it for days.

This is probably my favorite Outkast song and is powerful spiritual music. I probably listen to this song everyday. Cee-Lo’s verse especially reminds you that even though you have faith, God’s not going to magically fix everything. We still have to put forth the effort first and let the Lord do the rest. Nobody said being a Christian was easy lol.

Another classic Christmas cut that wound up being OutKast’s first hit. Its funny now seeing Dre in regular clothes lol
FUN FACT: Sean “Puffy” Combs directed this video. He told Dre borrow his chain and to take off his shirt so he could be a “sex symbol” lol
This has to be one of the realest songs I’ve ever heard and helped me get through the toughest time of my life. As I get older, I appreciate and understand it more and more. Crazy that I been bumpin this since 5th grade in ’95. I don’t know what music these yungins now raised on
