CLASSIC VIDEO: Nate Dogg feat. Snoop Doggy Dogg – “Never Leave Me Alone” (1996)

I still jam this on the regular.  Nate also sang this song on Vibe’s talk show as a Tupac Tribute on the anniversary of Pac’s death in 1997.  I also have him and Snoop performing this on Soul Train (uploads coming soon to my YouTube channel http://YouTube.com/DJCottonHere ).  This song had me so amped for Nate & Danny Boy’s Death Row albums (too bad they took 2 and 14 years to come out respectively).

CLASSIC CUT: Nate Dogg – “Where Are You Going?” (1998)

Everybody wants to play the game
But nobody wants to lose
I see my people die everyday
That’s why I sing the blues
Now tell me who wants to roll with me
Take a look at my world
I see some problems
Maybe You can help me solve them
Turn boys to men
And make women from girls
I see my loved ones turning to drugs
Almost everyday I lose another one
Where are you going I ask you one and all
Anyone can answer
I betcha’ they dont know

People where are you going
People where are you going

What if I could save my friends
If I had the whole worlds attention
What if people were really listening
I would tell them that I’m no good without Him
I would tell them together we can stand
Another message to brothers, colors bother
I’d introduce them to the hardest man in town
Somebody tell me please

People where are you going
People where are you going

Where are you going I ask you one and all
Anyone can answer
I betcha’ they dont know

People where are you going
People where are you going

CLASSIC VIDEO: 213 (Snoop Dogg, Nate Dogg & Warren G) – “I’m Fly” (Live on 106 & Park) (2004)

Ridin in my car
And I’m listening to the radio
I’m listening to a sad girl sing
Sing about how she got her heart broke

GET BETTER NATE!!!! Shoutout to my patna Dennis from Sacramento for puttin me up on this back in the day.  213 flipped the instrumental from Monica’s “So Gone” and made a summer hit that every playa can play for his gal.  I’m still mad they didn’t shoot a video for this because this is one of the most slept-on songs of all-time.  I used to put this on every mix CD I burned for like a year straight.

Ooooooooo I’m fly yeah!
